剧情简介
昭和6年，日本冈山县鬼首村，一名自称恩田几三的男子来到村中，推销他的圣诞树加工机器。时村中有仁礼和由良两大世家，仁礼家在战后专营葡萄酒业，风头正劲，而由良家则走向没落。为对抗仁礼一族，由良家接受恩田的推荐，进军圣诞树加工业，结果却被骗得血本无归。 自幼移居神户的青池源治郎回到村中，揭穿恩田的骗局，随后源志郎被杀。当年侦办此案的矶川警官（若山富三郎 饰）始终认为此案存有疑点，昭和27年，他从东京请来名侦探金田一耕助（石坂浩二 饰）调查。此时距惨案已有20年，各家的孩子均已长大成人。由良家的泰子（高橋洋子 饰）和仁礼家的文子（永野裕紀子 饰）同时爱上了源志郎的儿子歌名雄（北公次 饰）。但在某个夜晚，泰子被残忍杀害。这起凶案与20年前的悬案有着千丝万缕的关系，其背后隐藏着的感情纠葛也随着牺牲者的增加而渐渐浮出水面……。Somewhere on the internet is a land where communities pretend to live out a survivalist fiction.
