湘西人恋土重家，有着落叶定要归根的风俗，加上当地崎岖的地理环境，便催生了赶尸人这一职业，而龙七爷和徒弟龙平安则是当地镇子有名的赶尸匠。二十年前，龙七爷赶尸时遇到了赶尸人最怕的事情——尸路无门；二十年后，随着一名无头尸的出现，镇子上开始出现了一系列诡异的事情，而这些事情竟与二十年前龙七爷赶尸时遇到的事情有关……。This first film version of "The Children's Hour" uses a heterosexual triangle rather than the play's lesbian theme. The plot concerns schoolteachers Karen Wright and Martha Dobie, both of whom are in love with Dr. Joe Cardin. The malicious lie of one of their students involves all three in a scandal which disrupts all their lives.。
