剧情简介
在抓壮丁中捞了不少油水的王保长，40年代末期又出新招。以“蒋总裁”的“新生活十诫”为名，勾结地方国民党腐朽分子对百姓大收捐税，弄得鸡犬不宁，民不聊生。因此演绎了一幕幕尔谀我诈的人间丑剧。王保长开当铺，三嫂子连贞操都当进去了。害人的”喜捐“弄得如花似玉的李幺妹成痴呆，而且鬼使神差地嫁给了游手好闲的潘驼背。诡计多端的王保长把开茶馆的潘驼背整得赔了夫人又折兵。各有靠山的李老栓和王保长同时瞅准了征收所长这个肥差，一场明争暗斗究竟鹿死谁手？。New Zealand duo Bret McKenzie and Jemaine Clement, AKA the folk/comedy-band Flight of the Conchords, star in this fictionalized look at their lives.
