在国家经济发展的巨轮前，升斗市民是得益者抑或牺牲品？在埃塞俄比亚一个尘土飞扬的农业小镇，一家大型中国工厂正雄心勃勃地进行「入主非洲大计」，其中包括高风险的厂房扩建，并向当地政府承诺新建成的园区将提供三万个就业机会。纪录片围绕三位当地女性展开：中国籍工厂厂长、非籍工人和农民，透过她们的视角，探讨工业化进程和经济进步，对国家繁荣及其人民福祉，究竟有何意义？经济发展对个体来说，背后需付出何种不为人知的代价？纪录片由两位记者出身的导演历时四年拍摄而成，揭示中国在非洲影响力渐长的现实，让观众反思全球化与地方社区之间的关系。。A project dealing with self-acceptance, food and media abuse.
