以检察官为题材，讲述一宗跨越60多年复杂案件。讲述了建国以来三代检察官的生活，工作，家庭及成长经历，展现了检查机关在半个世纪里艰难历程，讴歌了检查工作者的高尚情操和美好情感。。In the near future, Norway is occupied by Russia on behalf of the European Union, due to the fact that the newly elected environmental friendly Norwegian government has stopped the all important oil- and gas-production in the North Sea。故事舞台为京都伏见。女主人公伏见稻荷，从童年时起就一直相信有神的存在，某天早上，她救了一只将要掉进河里的小狗。在经历了失恋之后，小狗再次出现在她面前。原来这只小狗是神灵的使者，为了报答她，神灵实现了她的一个愿望，结果……。
