剧情简介
解放初期，东北某地。工程师周昌民研制的军工产品引起了境外敌方注意，台湾特务组织派遣白秉忠冒充周好友的侄儿混入军工企业，并一度获董厂长信任。白的到来引起公安部门高度重视，派专人对其进行监视。白伺机窃取保险柜钥匙，石神父配钥匙时引起锁匠怀疑，既向公安局告发，此事给董厂长敲响了警钟，他责成加强内部保卫工作。不久，白秉忠窃走图纸，并威逼利诱周昌民跟他一起赴香港，此时周昌民已看清了白秉忠的特务嘴脸，他及时向领导作了汇报，并指出白盗走的不过是一份假图纸，真图纸早已转移。特务头子何主教遂起杀人之心......。Out of costume, Charlie is a clean-shaven dandy who, somewhat drunk, visits a dance hall.
