该片讲述的是未入朝堂前的青年狄仁杰在恋人公孙玉和好友杨卢的帮助下，通过案件调查抽丝剥茧，智破长安城中“庆忌”小妖杀人案，以及勇保家国社稷和黎民百姓的故事。。影片讲述了蛇妖璃清魅惑众生，与王生及徐盼三人陷入错综复杂的情感纠葛，上演了一场人与妖，爱与恨的对决！璃清不择手段，设计与王生妻子徐盼“调换皮囊”，欺骗王生，从而欲独占王生。漓清没料到的是，自己的私心竟然会引来灾难令王生涉险，当王生知道漓清“鸠占鹊巢”的计谋后，两人的爱情是否还会继续下去？。Michael is a successful actor, but he has a scandal in his past: at a tender age he knifed his father to death.
