最近新闻多了点，先是拉斯维加斯赌场被盗走了100万美金，然后又出现了一个连环杀人狂，杀人分尸，手段极其残忍。白领男子杰克在回家的路上遇到了一名神秘的阿德里安，他声称知道杰克的秘密，并以此做威胁，逼杰克载他一程。阿德里安到底是谁，杰克又有什么秘密呢？。歌手瑞特打算前往纳什维尔去追寻自己的梦想，却不忍心就此与深爱的女友萨曼塔分手。而萨曼塔也很困惑，她虽然很爱瑞特，但是觉得对于自己和女儿来说是很好的未来，对瑞特却不一定适合。与此同时，瑞特和萨曼塔之间的矛盾也影响到了周围的人们……。Cosimo, a buffalo farmer, refuses to sell off his land to the family of the young mayor candidate.
