清末民初，充满报国志向的军官陈湃被人陷害成为瞎子，流落成麦客。在西北双牛堡，陈湃协助村民反抗马匪的压迫，并且重新燃起斗志，成长为一名盲人侠客。The Once-Lers are told by the owner that they can sit on the wagon and that it had better not move.
