湘西人恋土重家，有着落叶定要归根的风俗，加上当地崎岖的地理环境，便催生了赶尸人这一职业，而龙七爷和徒弟龙平安则是当地镇子有名的赶尸匠。二十年前，龙七爷赶尸时遇到了赶尸人最怕的事情——尸路无门；二十年后，随着一名无头尸的出现，镇子上开始出现了一系列诡异的事情，而这些事情竟与二十年前龙七爷赶尸时遇到的事情有关……。Two places are in focus in this soap. First of all the hospital clinic run by Göran Fridell, a doctor who can not take advice from others, including his wife Ingrid, who also works at the hospital. Their daughter Annika also works as a nurse at the hospital but dreams of becoming a doctor. She has a relationship with the young doctor Anders Ståhlberg but may loose him to nurse ...。
