剧情简介
6年级的马蒂和他的家人试图帮助夏伊洛（宠物狗）先前的主人贾德·特拉弗斯，他从一次几乎致命的卡车交通事故中拯救了自己。马蒂和他的家人努力往好的一面想，相信贾德能改正自己错误，不过社区里的其他人确信贾德永远不会改变。希望按照拯救贾德其他的狗的方式来拯救夏伊洛，马蒂开始帮助贾德去关心动物。不过，当贾德被怀疑谋杀了一个已经失踪的人时，马蒂担心他把自己和夏伊洛置身于一个危险的处境中。。George is the scapegoat of his classmates.
