剧情简介
Birds of paradise are one of David Attenborough's lifelong passions. He was the first to film many of their beautiful and often bizarre displays, and over his lifetime he has tracked them all over the jungles of New Guinea. In this very personal film, he uncovers the remarkable story of how these 'birds from paradise' have captivated explorers, naturalists, artists, film-makers...。1958年12月，古巴，职业睹徒杰克前往古巴的首都哈瓦娜，参加一场大型扑克牌赛，期望藉此大挥一笔。他在当地邂逅了一名美丽的已婚女子罗贝塔，她的丈夫是当地的共产党革命领袖，两人情不自禁的坠入了情网。此时，罗贝塔的丈夫遭军队杀害，她也被政府逮捕烤问，杰克试着将她救出，但是他却无法阻止罗贝塔对革命的狂热支持……。
