新娘即将到来，陆三金（郭京飞 饰）、盛秋月（袁咏仪 饰）、邱璎珞（钱芳 饰）和白静祺（张瑞涵 饰）等人纷纷离开镖局，回家过年，留下恭叔一人看家护院。哪知道没过多久恭叔就遭到了蒙面人的伏击，在回家途中的众人亦纷纷遭袭，一眨眼，刚刚告别的一行人又在龙么镖局聚首了。 来者交给陆三金一个护镖任务，目的地正是陆三金的家，他只有七天的时间来完成这个任务，而且途中充满了不确定的因素。为了维护镖局的名声，亦为了锻炼自我，陆三金毅然接受了任务，赶着镖车，陆三金出发了，在他的面前等待着的，是长达三千里的慢慢旅途，以及潜伏在旅途之中的敌人和危险。。The subtitle of Jean-Marie Straub and Danièle Huillet’s first feature, from 1965, “Only Violence Helps Where Violence Reigns,” suggests the fierce political program evoked by their rigorous aesthetic. The pretext of the film, set in Cologne, is Heinrich Böll’s novel “Billiards at Half Past Nine,” which they strip down to a handful of stark events and film with a confrontational angularity akin to Bartók’s music that adorns the soundtrack. The subtlest of cues accompany the story’s complex flashbacks. The middle-aged Robert Fähmel tells a young hotel bellhop of persecutions under the Third Reich| his elderly father, Heinrich, an architect famed for a local abbey, recalls the militarism of the First World War, when his wife, Johanna, incurred trouble for insulting the Kaiser. A third-generation Fähmel is considering architecture, just as the exiled brother of Robert’s late wife, returns, only to be met by their former torturer, now a West German official taking part in a celebratory parade of war veterans. Straub and Huillet make the layers of history live in the present tense, which they judge severely. The tamped-down acting and the spare, tense visual rhetoric suggest a state of moral crisis as well as the response—as much in style as in substance—that it demands.。
