Maybe he needs to ...。挪威北部的小村庄里，临近圣诞节却没有雪，经常吹嘘有雪的编辑受到村民的白眼，发明家因为朋友索兰和卢兹维的期盼开始秘密研究造雪机，可是性能不稳定的造雪机被编辑私自搬走，终于下雪了，可是雪越来越大…面对陷入癫狂的编辑，发明家和他的朋友们该如何阻止他呢？村庄里的人们又经历了怎样的成长呢？。离乡多年的雷福兴，因为儿子意外离世（儿子公园湖里救人），加之对儿子从小到大抚养的愧疚之情，想带着儿子的骨灰回到家乡，落叶归根，让儿子入土为安。但回乡之后，却遇到了重重阻挠，身为族长的二叔因为“老的不死，小的不能进祖坟”族训，不允许福兴儿子埋进祖坟，福兴面对着陈旧的族训，进行了作为父亲和新时代思想对封建一派的抗争。最终，那教条般的陈规还是成为了无法弥合的枷锁，福兴只能带着儿子的骨灰，在北方的原野中独孤的游荡。。
